Its so bright and sunny outside. Summer is here and the heat is up…., the temperature soars upto 48 deg some days, with 100% humidity. However given a choice I like summer and I dread winter as I tend to catch up more flu during winters, so I hate winters.
As summer starts, a kind of relief comes in as schools are closed for almost two months and time to go home on annual leave which I look forward to escape the summer.
This is a very vibrant and a very refreshing juice to beat the heat. Pomegranate is a fruit which has enough of vitamins in it and needless to say about the zesty orange, try this combination of these two fruits its really wonderful. You will love it for sure.
Ingredients
Serves 2
1 ½ cups fresh pomegranate arils
2 seedless oranges
slice of orange, and pomegranate arils, for garnish
Cut the oranges and pomegranate into half and juice using a citrus juicer. Stain with a mesh strainer, and pour into glasses. Add some ice cubes (Optional)
Keeping in mind the health benefits pomegranate, it’s said that pomegranate juice has three times more antioxidants than green tea, so skip tea or coffee. It is said that to get most of the fruits nutritional values its always better to avoid the sugar and have at its natural form.
We loved it as it was a real thirst quencher and a perfect refreshing drink for the summer.
