Ingredients

Chick peas - (kabuli channa) – 1 ½ cup
Cumin seeds – ½ tsp
Onion – 1 big size
Red chilli powder – as per your taste
Coriander powder – 1 tbsp
Garlic – 1 tsp
Garam masala – ½ tsp
Ginger – 1 tsp
Channa Masala powder (Shan masala) - 2 Tbsp
Tomatoes – 1 big size
Turmeric - 1/4tsp
Salt – to taste
Cream – 1 tbsp
Green chillies - 3
Coriander for garnish
Kasturi methi leaves – dried – ¼ tsp
Oil – about 2 tbsp
· Pressure cook the soaked channa with 1 green chilli nicely
· Take a kadai, add oil then allow the cumin seeds splutter then you add onions when the onions are

· Now add the red chilli, turmeric and coriander powders a bit of salt
· Throw in the tomato and stir well and add the channa masala powder
· Now add only the cooked channa and stir well until the tomatoes are cooked well
· Add the channa water and allow it boil well
· Check the salt (remember you have added earlier – see and add)
· Mix well like mash few of the channa and allow it boil well
· Add the cream, coriander leaves, crushed k.methi leaves and if needed u may add up some garam
masala.
You have cooked it now and enjoy this with any indian breads or it goes well with bhatura
masala.
