Carrot and green peas mezhukkupuratti

 Ingredients:- 

Carrot – 2 cups                                                                                                                                    Grean peas – ½ cup                                                                                                                             Turmeric – a pinch                                                                                                                                   Onion big – 1 no
Red whole chillie – 4 – 5nos                                                                                                                                                      
Coconut oil
Salt to taste

Masala
Onion – 1 no &  Red chillie – 4 – 5nos.
·        Dunk the above 2 into a mixer and just use the pulser and crush them

Method
In a pan add some water and allow the carrot and peas to cook by covering with a lid, when its half done add in the salt and turmeric and let it get cooked well.
Now  put the crushed masala and fry it well till it turns nice dark colour.
Some people like mezhukkupuratti  to be fried well, just in my case we at home love it nicely roasted. Some just fry it till the raw smell goes and then they take it off the flame.
Goes very well with rice as a side dish.
