Ingredients
Seedless dates – 18 nos. *
Sugar - ¾ cup
All purpose flour – 1 cup
Milk - ¾ cup
Oil – ½ cup (I used sunflower oil)
Baking soda – 1 tsp
* I soaked the dates in 1/4 cup milk for about 1 hour
Method
Sieve the flour and soda and keep aside.
Use a blender and make a fine paste of the dates, sugar, milk.
When little smooth, add oil and
grind all the ingredients and put it into a bowl and keep aside.
Fold in the flour into the date mixture. Just use the hand whisk, no need to beat it. Its that simple.
Now put this into a greased tin and bake for about 35 - 40 minutes (depending on your oven temperature). at 180 deg.
Bake until a toothpick comes out clean.
